Ozlem received her BA of science in chemistry from Turkey and started her professional career in the United States at the Department of Civil Environmental Engineering, UC Davis. During her Staff Research Associate II position, she was promoted to Lab Manger and Safety Coordinator. Ozlem attended The California Environmental, Health & Safety Academy in 2007, BSC Safety Training, EHS, UC Davis in 2008, and OSHA 30 hours Compliance Course in 2011.
At Far Western, Ozlem manages the safety program and conducts weekly safety meetings. She oversees safety trainings, risk assessments, accident/injury investigations, and health and safety inspections. She also prepares and distributes the company policies, performs ergonomic workstation adjustments, and respiratory fit tests.
