Claire Tatlow first joined Far Western as an Archaeological Field Technician in 2022, and became a Staff Archaeologist at Far Western’s main office in Davis, California in 2024. She has been working in the field of archaeology since 2018. Claire received a B.S. in Anthropology & Geography with a concentration in Archaeology from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 2020. Her projects with Far Western have included data recovery, survey and construction monitoring. Her experience primarily focuses on California’s central coast and the eastern Sierra Nevada. She has also conducted field work for the Ness of Brodgar on the Orkney Islands in Scotland.
