Rhea graduated with her B.A. in Environmental Studies from Soka University of America in 2019. She earned her M.S. in Biodiversity, Wildlife and Ecosystem Health from the University of Edinburgh in 2022. Her thesis investigated the historical implementation of water rights in the Klamath Basin and how it led to widespread environmental degradation and a deepening of the Klamath Indigenous peoples struggle to address the unjust harm to their communities and way of life.
Rhea is an Assistant Project Manager at the Far Western Davis office. In this role she has been in involved in managing numerous projects in California, assisting in schedule and deliverable tracking, report writing, preparing budgets, and Indigenous outreach and coordination.
