Kimberley Carpenter M.A.
Kim is a Principal and Senior Archaeologist at Far Western. She received her B.A. from California State University, Long Beach in 1992 and her M.A. from California State University, Chico in 1998. She has experience dating from 1988 in archaeological research throughout California and the Great Basin. Her research interests include hunter-gatherer adaptation as viewed through the lens of human behavioral ecology. The results of her research have been published by the Smithsonian Institution Press, American Antiquity, and the Nevada State Museum. Kim is currently an Associate Editor for the Journal of California and Great Basin Anthropology and is a member of the Societies for American and California Archaeology.
