Company Principals and Staff

The owners of Far Western, William Hildebrandt, Ph.D.; Patricia Mikkelsen, M.A.; Amy Gilreath, M.A.; Kelly McGuire, M.A.; Kimberley Carpenter, M.A.; Jeffrey Rosenthal, M.A., and D. Craig Young, Ph.D. are all active professional archaeologists who take a hands-on approach to both project management, as well as the nuts-and-bolts of technical archaeological programs. This philosophy has resulted in a number of outstanding technical reports and publications recognized by both environmental professionals and academic scholars as being at the forefront of American archaeology.

The key to our success is the 60 employees comprising the permanent staff of Far Western. This award-winning staff includes more then 20 Ph.D.-and M.A.-level archaeologists, along with GIS specialists, designers and graphic artists, laboratory scientists, crew chiefs, and technicians.
