Clients - Military Facilities

Far Western has longstanding partnerships at some of the largest and most active military bases in the country, including the National Training Center at Ft. Irwin—the U.S. Army's primary training facility for mechanized warfare—the Naval Air Weapons Stations at China Lake and Fallon, and the Utah Test and Training Range, Hill Air Force Base. Cultural resources programs conducted in these environments are demanding, to say the least, and involve hands-on experience with military range control and “live-fire” schedules, ordnance safety, and facility security protocols.

Far Western has shown enormous flexibility in handling the ever-changing schedules of an active testing and training range.  There have been numerous times where planned work had to be postponed due to mission requirements or various other delays.  They have accomodated these changes and adjusted the deliverables schedule to meet the government's unforseen suspensions.  In comparision to work produced for Hill AFB by other cultural resources contractors, Far Western has proved to be very cost effective, not only in overall price and quality, but more importantly, in the time required to oversee projects.  They have shown they need minimum oversight from the cultural resources manager and the final products require minor revisions, which have been completed in a timely manner.

Janie Hirshi, Hill Air Force Base

FWARG's professionalism has been well established since their inception in 1979.  Across the board they are well managed, have the highest integrity, are great scholars, with competitive rates, highly qualified personnel, and are very cooperative.  Overall, they are very good to work with.

Richard Perry, Army Corps of Engineers
